best vegetable chopper for composting?

What’s a good and cheap vegetable chopper for composting old or unused vegetables,?
I always have plenty of cucumbers, tomato, carrot, potato, squash ect from my garden thats beyond eating and perfect for the compost pile but cutting it all up with a knife becomes a chore,, I also have a worm bin that I need to somewhat finely chop vegetable waste for.
Something manual or automatic that makes quick work of this almost daily task, that won’t break the bank?
thanks in advance

For compost, you really don’t have to chop it up, although it will break down faster if you do. If a knife won’t do well enough, try a small hatchet on the harder veggies. For the finely chopped veggies for your worm bin, just use a food processor.
I have a very high-powered blender (a Vita-Mixer) and I put all sorts of veggie trash (and even chicken and fish bones) in it with water and reduce it all to sludge. This does require that some of the veggies be cut into chunks, but it can handle many whole veggies as long as they’re not huge. Then I pour the veggie sludge into the compost heap and mix it up with dried leaves. It breaks down into compost in record time!
