What did you get at the black friday sales?
I don’t live in an urban area, so the rush isn’t so bad. We go to a Super Wal-Mart 20 mins from where I love in a town on 3,500. It was pretty crowded, and I was a little squished, but no fighting, pushing, shoving, or trampling goes on there.Then we go 45 mins away to a larger place which has Target, Circuit City, Malls, Hastings, K-Mart etc. Still not a huge trampling camp out type place. Went with my mom and got things for sister, bro, etc. I got a Digital Camera, DVDs, DVDs, DVDs, 2GB Philips MP3, 2 2GB SD for , 0 8GB Zune (not on sale), Sims 2 Deluxe, Wireless Mouse, Two Nintendo DS games, Fly Pentop Computer, FM Transmitter, 50% Aeropstale, BOGO Am. Eagle, Lots of Fleece Pajama Pants, Vegetable Chopper, blender, and mini crock pot, CDs, Razor scooter, Lots of toys and stuff for really cheap prices, and just all around knick knacks. Those were just from the top of my head and so far I think we did pretty good, but we did better the year before last. I also saw a 6th Gen. 80GB Apple iPod for 9.

dang! i got nothing. too crowded and had to drive back home
i just went to BLACK friday.net and searched to see if what i wanted was a good price somewhere. I got a perfume kit, Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, usually 100 i got for 70 dollars, i love it!
Nothing. My own store was busy, even though we don’t have sales. We’re across form Wal-Mart. I only went into Wal-Mart to have lunch at the McDonald’s inside. I looked at the Salvation Army for the 20% off sale, but found nothing. I didn’t bother going to Target, Best Buy, Kohls or any of those (all of those are near where I work). Or to Old Navy–they’re next door to where I work and the parking lot was packed with customers going to ON.
I didnt get anything. but my family got me presents for my b-dAY!
I stay away from that madness. A Walmart employee was trampled to death by some morons who HAD to get the deals and didn’t care who got hurt. One guy here sat outside Best Buy from 6 a.m. Thursday morning so he could be the first in line on Friday morning. There were people who had tents set up outside the store. People FOUGHT for things they wanted at a bargain at some stores.
And I bet those people don’t worship the person we have this season for!
